How are the London sides going to finish, this season?

Discussion in 'The Premier League' started by Hoddle is a god, Dec 9, 2014.

  1. It was never a "prediction," PESKIE - I'll leave that kind of thing to you.

It was more an expression of opinion, which is what these kinds of fora thrive on. Opinions can change, nothing is ever written in stone.

So you have ditched that prediction then <laugh>

As you well know, my predictions are great. Last season I correctly predicted the top 6 in the right order. And if you look at this season's prediction thread on the Arsenal board, you will see me thriving again.

As for you though HIAG, you spend your time making stupid predictions and failed wums and then desperately scramble to back track when they go wrong <ok>

  3. Look, it's clear we're never going to agree on anything, and that you are too proud to be seen to be the first to call a truce, so I'll be the bigger man, here.

You're great at predicting things and I'm a complete numpty. Tsk! That's me, I'm afraid!

Right. Now that the air has been cleared, I'm hoping we can find enough respect for each other to let things go.

You could have saved yourself a lot of pain by not spouting the crap you have, but there you go.

I'm more than happy to just talk about football in a sensible way <ok>

    The Good Saturday Agreement ?

  6. Every piece of "crap" that I have spouted has been done for effect - every bit of it.

I've had great fun doing it, too. I often chuckle when I write and post my stuff, knowing that I'll get a reaction. But I've grown tired of all that, now. And I can see how, on some occasions, it could have appeared a little juvenile.

You believe that I meant what i wrote, if you want to; it doesn't matter to me. There are enough people on this forum who know that most of what I wrote was done for no reason other than the sheer fun in posting it.

The important thing for me, now, is how we move forward; and I'm going to give it my best shot at being more serious.

Thing is HIAG, the 'effect' was that it made you look like a nob <laugh>

    Anyway, we move on ....

Spuds cheering on Arsenal today ? A win for pool practically hammers in the final nail in the coffin for Spurs' top 4 aspirations

  12. A draw would be the best result for us, as it keeps both Arsenal and 'Pool within our sights.

  14. Not going to happen, now, of course,

Arsenal 3-0 up, as I write.

'Pool are paying the price for over-utilizing their comedy pairing of Rodgers and Sterling.

Good to see you celebrating an Arsenal win.

You can thank us on St Totteringham's day, it won't be long now <ok>

  17. Well, St Arsehole's Day has come and gone, so we need something else to look forward to, my friend.

There's no such thing as St arseholes day though. That's just you making something up to try and deflect from the pain of St Totterningham's day, a very real and tangible annual event.

Don't worry it won't be long now. Then you'll have another year to dream and make wild predictions before Spurs **** it up again <ok>
