    Apparently someone once said,

You do not have to know the third law of thermodynamics to exist, but to live you have to read Shakespeare's sonnets?

I have read 17 of those. Bit of a wide range on there. Not sure all are inspirational but each to their own.

I have loved literature all my adult life. I had a English Lit teacher who I connected with and I owe him a massive thanks. My kids dont read and I hate that! There are more than a few books I take inspiration from. One that stays with me is Catcher in the rye, and I dont mind admitting it is one of those (and in my cases there are a few) that chokes me up. Books are a personal thing and I tend to think we are lucky if we enjoy them. I would love to write a novel and leave it behind but I am afraid I dont have the talent.
