I took my son to the Mick Channon suite for the Coventry game. Not cheap (for someone in my position) at £180 pounds (inc vat) and we had to have a breakfast rather than lunch because of the early match time, but I loved it. Food was good (not excellent but good) though hard to get down with the nerves. Nice atmosphere and had some pleasant people on our table. Soft seats in the ground...good for elderly posteriors and I could see the back of Cortese's head so a great view over the pitch (especially for the pitch invasion). It was good to be able to pop in at half-time for preordered drinks and having further drinks or tea/coffee and pastries at full time. Gave us a chance to discuss the match and unwind from the excitement. I know it wouldn't suit everybody because it may be too quiet for some. I've promised that I will repeat the experiment for the first PL match I can make.

Do they have one or a couple of the players come into the boxes or am I confusing this with another one

I went to when a player came in and did a question and answer session to us as guests.

We had Danny Seaborne before the game. They apologised after the match because they couldn't get a player to come up to the suite...don't know why...perhaps they were doing something<laugh>

Yes that is what I remembered when we went there a player coming in to talk to us. I really enjoyed this bit of the day as
you got to meet and chat with a player in a relaxed atmosphere. We were able to ask questions and have a laugh with the
player. How was Danny Seaborne ? I heard yesterday he is back to his pre injury fitness and by all accounts looking and performing well in training. Would be good to know from the horses mouth how he is ?
