I made a return to PU today after a long absence due to living abroad, and was so surprised at how flat it was. It felt like I was in the directors area...so quiet. It really shocked me. Has it been like this at other games recently, or was today an exception?

Its got worse and worse as the season went on, fans realised it was having no effect so just sat there in silence waiting for awful performance to happen. People don't even bother getting angry or complaining. Its just utter resignation and dejection.

Even away games are like that now when they used to be excellent.

It's killing the passion if the club, and IMO it all starts with Harry and the players he has chosen to bring in...they are all letting us down big time!

For all of this season our crowd has sat and watched crap football. We've put up with it because what is the alternative? Give Arry abuse and wreck wat slim chance we have of going up!!!!

If we dont go up and he's still here next season I predict he'll get dogs abuse if he doesnt change his ways and start playing decent football.

If we go up and he stays he'll get a stay of execution to see if he can cut it, maybe 2 months. If he cant he'll get hounded out.

The above is purely my opinion. My hope is that we get promoted and Arry does the decent thing and immediately walks. As a manager he is not fit for purpose. Having said that he and the team will get my full support during the rest of the season.

We have the atmosphere the football and performances deserve Im afraid.

I found winning in the last minute quite exciting.

    Sorry about that Flyer.

I share your opinion Sussex, and as you have been to nearly all the games, home and away this year, I think your opinion caries more weight than most.

Promotion this year will be a completely hollow achievement for me.

For me and purely personally, getting promoted is not the be all and end all. I want to be entertained and enjoy going to matches. I have been willing to accept a season of ****e football though because I know how important promotion is to the club financially.

I can count on one hand the games I have really enjoyed this season. Im not sure I could take another year of this dross whatever division we are in.

That's fair enough Sussex but from what I have seen he is just trying to get us up by whatever method and entertainment is only a possible by product. There hasn't been many entertaining games it is true but I prefer it to only winning four games all season.

The fans are just waiting for next season, no one is happy wherever I sit.

If we don't go up, he's going to get it, if we do, we will be losing every week so he will get the abuse.

I just get the impression its building up and the fans will lay into him in whatever division we are in next season.
As you said, they are holding off to avoid a poisonous atmosphere.

However, I imagine west London willy and jeffranger on their own excitedly all game blaming the fans for the performances.

Speaking of fans, I had a Chinese couple in their 60s in front of me and the bloke was enjoying it, he even got up and did a slow wave to the Watford fans after we got the winner.

They are not mutually exclusive. Its pretty logical to assume wed have better results if we played better.

Its not as if we have a stoke like team who can win but in a way that's not very pretty.

We got the three points but it was terrible overall. Just think what we could do if we played well for 90 minutes.

That's why Redknapp is so poor, we haven't had a good 90 mins all season.
Mind you, yeovil away was much worse than Watford.

He actually gave me more entertainment than the game did until we made the sub's, plus there was some top quality totty around me, do the players wives sit in the directors box or next to it?
