From my edition of Centre Press translated roughly. The local blood donors association organised a walk for beginners entitled Marche pour la vie. 270 people of all ages joined in the 14km walk which they completed in under two hours. At the finish they planted a tree watched by various dignitaries before dashing off to the bar for a glass or two.
