I THINK mine is too Theo but...Years ago she would accompany me often TO the Vicarage( only TO, we'd stand at opposite ends) but lost interest in football -or what Watford play, many years ago.Why though is there now a signed photo of Bassini hanging on the wall? (and no doubt she was charged for it)
Mrs H will not go near a vicarage of any sort...unless there is a Michelin-starred restaurant called The Vicarage anywhere...
*Common ground there then, when Mrs Boss Here attended games she wrote to the local council demanding they change the name to Atheists Avenue...which was a bloody cheek as we've never actually lived in Herts. *and you dont get more of a common ground than the one we are speaking of
I used to visit a mate who lived in Gresham, a bit to the east of Portland, on several occasions. As you say W-Y, a lovely city, excellent microbrews and cracking bars.
I do quite like the idea of an Atheists Avenue...it would give the Jehovahs a few fewer doors to knock on. They could give Godless Grove a miss too.
Only game 't other half has seen was a midweek against The Blades...questioned whether the sport should be renamed headball, and hasn't been. Back since !! Not a footie fan
