We have too many midfielders as it is, we need a striker now, that 2.5Mill can be better spent elsewhere.
I made some comment about how we should have been in France looking at some of the not so fancied players and look what has happened. I like the look of this one and so perhaps my judgements on our new manager were off the mark and he has shaken some trees out there in the woods. Perhaps Kodjia might go elsewhere and our money lined boots filled with new players will change our fortunes - but then who knows? Like what I'm seeing so far and keep up the good work because you don't necessarily need money to succeed, just more commitment.
...We signed a player who didn't play a minute of the Euros? To give the scouting department due credit, I'm sure they were tracking him as a possibility well before the Euros. Just because it's not reported, doesn't mean that we don't have tabs on dozens (potentially hundreds) of players out there.
Maybe if Mathews don't come and to be honest with fat Sam likely to be leaving Sunderland soon it's probably unlikely, as the new manger will want to access his squad. Maybe we ought to get Hordur a friend and put a bid in for Aron Gunnarsson the Cardiff right back?
Lets be honest here - we were never going to compete with other clubs for anyone playing in the Euros. One look at the money involved tells you why. However Call me old fashioned but the idea of having a centre back/midfielder who can ping a pass or free kick that "gives Pirlo a run for his money" makes me feel warm and fuzzy Magnusson is our Eric Dier
He can also play RB, and who says you won't sell? You don't play him and I also said a sneaky bid. Incase you don't know, I'm not in charge of our signings so don't fret snowflake it's not happening.
