What a bloody hiding ! Slow, feeble, totally owned by a team with little more than guts and effort .Our so called “great” players were overun, outplayed and unable to gain control over a bottom half team with more drive and passion than us from start to finish. Koullibaly had a shocker, then lost the plot and his cool, Silva was off the pace, James is wasted in the back line. Front 3 were invisible because Leeds tore into our midfield, smothered everything they tried and treated them like they were target practice.
Starting to worry about Audi. He still seems to have no clue how to set us up specifically for each opponent. Surely we needed pace in our passing to match the assault of aggression and speed from Leeds which everyone knew was coming????
Instead we were sitting ducks and played like headless chickens.

There's lots I could mention suffice it to say one small point, not a bottom half team, we were above you before the match.

    Hubris.

Leeds fully deserved the win. 3-0 didn't flatter them in any way. The GK position isn't a priority but a position we have to upgrade over the next two windows - neither Kepa or Mendy are the long term answer.

Has anybody looked at that foul on the second goal again? It looked like he tripped himself up...I appreciate Leeds were absolutely miles better than us and it would’ve been a travesty had we taken anything from the match but the refereeing standards seem to be getting even worse.

Our team are crying out for a striker, Havertz is painful. How on earth did we end up paying 80M for him, yikes. The performances so far just prove how under prepared we are. We don’t like fit, we’re about 4 players short in too many critical positions and those players we do have don’t seem to fit our system.

……a big wake up call that’s come extremely early in the season giving plenty of time to correct. No idea why Mendy didn’t just boot the ball into the stand instead of trying to outwit their forward. 1-0 down and from then on it looked like an unlikely Leeds victory was assured.

Your position is 17th out of 20 Teams in the last official PL table Thats bottom half for those with a basic grasp of maths.
If you are above 10th at the end of this season you’ll be a top half Team. That’s how it works.
Same rules for us, but nice try !!

With a basic grasp of eyesight you would see a different team to the one that finished last season and a 3 - 0 drubbing is how that works.

That hubris I mentioned is what will cost your players, fans and manager THIS season.
