    no one has ever let anyone go on a free who turned out class. imagine he wasn't happy there so didn't enjoy his football ?? got to think outside of the box my little negative friend

    Its not clear why he left but he was quoted as saying "the club no longer wanted me". Now that could be because they felt he wouldn't make it. Or it could be because they were relegated and were having to either be brutal with their squad, or it may have triggered a release clause. The fact that Rennes, Athletico Madrid, Everton and ourselves were on the case suggests that it may be the latter.
