I watched him closely for a few minutes after the goal on Tuesday as Martin was warming up. He moved freely and easily, so I suspect at three nil up, half an hour to go, Nigel thought it a good idea to give Martin a run out and rest Jos.

It says on the OS preview for the game that he should be back so fingers crossed. Also when he was walking off the pitch on Tuesday he was walking freely and didn't appear to have much wrong with him so i think he'll be good to go.

I understand he took a knock during his goal and in the heat of the game I'm sure he ran it off. Of course, the next day one can get a little stiff, but then again Saints would no doubt be putting Jos into ice baths or some such other technical warm down method. I also heard that players did a bit of training straight after the Peterborough match. Presumably the ones who didn't get onto the pitch during the 90+ minutes only though, although I did get the impression that the whole team did it..?

That's a standard thing for the players who don't play TheSecondStain! Often see the likes of Seaborne, Reeves, Doble etc training after a match

Looking at the vids he appeared to have been clobbered by the GK, after he had headed the ball. Certainly looked dazed and wobbly just after, I think NA saw the opportunity to reward Aaron with some time on the pitch when the game looked sewn up.

if he's carrying an injury then i think the only person who can decide is the gaffer. if you cut one of jos's legs off tomorrow he will still report ready for the game- he wants 10 goals

Love the bloke. Forte asking to be set up for a goal was funny. Like Sharp in an earlier interview, Jos mentioned our poor form when on TV...says it would be nice to show our best form to a wider audience. If he's an emergency stop-gap buy, he's the best stop-gap buy in the world.

Just popped across to the OS and the first words of Jos Hooiveld's article were...

Jos Hooiveld reckons promotion to the Premier League would be a career highlight.

And I thought... NO..! Really..? ;)

I'd love to see more casual interviews.

"So, are you excited about the prospect of promotion to the Premier League?"
"Eh, yeah I guess, it's alright, don't care too much but I suppose"
