Something like that Rob as long as you have a sense of Victory we can move on.
Last season Martin scored 28 Hooper what 7 from memory?
This season Hooper 0 goals Martin 8 goals plus he was my favorite player in Lg1 and for much of our Championship season.
I don't see how i insulted you but have witnessed some epic pointlessly long debates from you and i would rather just let you think you have won an internet argument.
    Go Rob<ok>

I appreciate you're not the quickest bunny in the forest, but even you must realise that:
    "This season Hooper 0 goals"
Is an entirely empty and stupid point.

But thank you for conceding defeat and not being hypocritical by trying to perpetuate the argument. It is much appreciated. Go SN23<ok>

Ps not quite accurate on your edited stats, but the point is I gave you the minutes per goal last season which is much more important, especially given that Hooper was injured for so much of the time.

And of course injury record is something that C Martin has over Hooper, but I wouldn't want to give you any useful points now, would I. After all, that might extend this argument beyond six pages.

Nobody will be more thrilled than me if Hooper does score for us and make double figures but since he came to us we have not seen him anywhere near his potential.
You can blame tactics Hughton service or injuries but in reality if Martin scores more goals than Hooper he is a much more valuable asset.
I will let the quick bunny insult slide as i wouldn't want you to call for me to get banned like you do when you get upset.

I never disagreed, and don't disagree, with any of this. All I said is that Hooper is twice the player. But yes, if Hooper fails to have a big season while Martin does, Martin will clearly be more valuable. But we can't do anything about that. And certainly can't blame it on the board, because if you were to place bets on the more successful player 15 months ago...

Nice to see you not stooping to my level with petty gibes given how keen you are not to have a multiple page argument. Ban him for being so mature!

Oh FFS peace SN. You are relentless with the digs because you don't like me disagreeing with you, and yet having a swing at me for going on.

Look, I apologise for the bunny comment. We'll just have to agree to disagree about Hooper v C Martin

Let's just both hope he starts banging them in and stays away from injury as he seems to take an eternity to recover .
For the first time this season i have had serious concerns obout our season anything other than a win against Leeds and i will be getting like Carrabu.

Not buying into this 'Hooper wasn't interested' line. He ran about, but thrives on chances and we created diddly yesterday (penalty aside as he came on after it).

Hoops apparently wanted to leave to play in the Prem. Can't imagine he'd be interested in a Championship relegation scrap. It's just the usual journo rubbish putting two (Lennon taking over at Bolton) and two (Hooper not having played much for us) together and coming up with something fabricated to fill column space.

What a load of rubbish about Hooper "not being interested" yesterday! Ok he had a couple of dodgy first touches when he first came on, which is pretty understandable, but after that I thought he did ok and generally looked lively.
Amazes me how people continue to make stuff up out of what I consider to be absolutely nothing to create a story, just don't get it.

Forgive for being wrong, but didn't chris martin leave on a bosman rather than you selling him?

    Or fools seldom differ ;)

Need a shake up Tuesday Munky. Think we've been worked out a bit, time for Adams to earn his corn.
