Like I need to try? you and the rest of the Soton Posse (apart from a few decent types) have proven yourself just about the most ignorant bunch of so called football fans around. The lack of knowledge of the football world outside of the home counties is astonishing.

I note with interest you don't dispute your ignorance though <ok>

ps If you want to be a pedant then it's best to check your facts, did I say Southampton was in the Home Counties?

I'll not dispute the lack of interest from certain Saints fans with regards to Scottish football, if you wish to assign 'ignorance' to that lack of interest then that's up to you.

I myself have a modicum of knowledge, having a Scottish, St Johnstone supporting Grandma and having once been a ST holder at Boghead. I know why The Sons have an elephant on their badge, do you?

I am very clever like that. <ok>

To clarify, do you mean "Season Ticket" when you type ST?

Stating such things round these parts is a little ambiguous.

Our 2nd string were pish, like Hooper against St Mirren.<ok>

(Very difficult to be upwardly mobile when you're 1st or 2nd all season long, or a lifetime in your case)

Hooper played well on Saturday yes he never scored but his all round game was good in horrific conditions , top of the league and only 20000 there !!! Must be an awful league if that is the standard required to be top

Will west ham win that league ??? Hear a lot of Hammers moaning about their style , are they just the best of a bad lot , i don't really rate the championship , poor spl players have proved themselves in it , but this season the 3 promoted sides look like surviving in the premiership ,with basically journey men , surely it's a sign of decreasing standard of the premiership rather than the championship being good .

    You mean "except" ?

Whatever, you are still wrong, Hooper was one of our few decent performers and we won, that's all that matters. I'm sure if he'd scored you'd say how easy it is to score in the SPL yadayadayada.

Pedigree? What do you mean? Are you talking about silverware won? If that's the case then Aberdeen have won the same amount of European trophies as Celtic & Rangers added together. And Rangers have had 51 ****ing years in a row having a go! <laugh>

Most Scottish teams probably have better Euro records than the Anglo teams, simply because it's basically free entry every year for the top 3 or 4. Aberdeen have had 27 goes! Saints have had a very, very hard earned 7 (only 6 allowed thanks to Liverpool fans at Heysel), so I count a 1/4 final in there as a pretty decent return.

    Pedigree, my arse!

What a diddy poster you really are FentonPD. Try the thought process, there's a good girl. <ok>
