If Naaaaaarch have offered a max of £4m for him, you would expect us to put in a counter. I just think we may have already talked to the agent and or player and something has happened, such as ridiculous demands like a million signing on fee or something, that has lead Bruce to say no thanks.
If we are not bidding it is because we won't win. Deals are agreed before offers are official so clubs are spared the embarrassment of losing out to another suitor. SSN have been reporting for the last few days that Gary Hooper wants to go to Norwich City. Closest PL club tio his home. Hooper deal looks dead as he wants Norwich City. Don t see DQPR as an option either. If he did then another Blackburn situation imo. If Burnley only want £2m then that is a gamble imo worth taking - surely ? Nothing wrong with that one little bit. DQPR looks a good bet to to a Wolves next season. Only there wonga looks to have any appeal. Hooper has not played for Celtic in any game of late. Even manager Lennon looks to have given up on him. He sure is IF he does do that. I very much doubt it actually happening now.
