What a load of rubbish. He isn't the paciest, but he also makes full-backs look like fans who have wandered on to the pitch (including those playing for Spurs, Man Ure and Liverpool) and I believe had the most assists for us last season, a lot more than just a good shot (that's Kris Commons). Also Watford are a selling club.
Good for you, I thought he was average when I watched him play...he's not worth £6m apart from in Ken Bates' eyes. Who cares, we wont pay stupid money for him and will likely have moved on. £3.5m for Graham was a fair proce, probably worth £4m. believe Snodgrass, toanyone other than Leeds, is worth £4m. However, he's worth what a club values him at and if that's £6m then he is over valued. What's the big deal!? Let's see what the realists think... http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/51243-Snoddy-3.5M-Norwich
Unfortunately it's not about what he's worth to other clubs, it's about what he's worth to Leeds. He's worth far more than £3.5 million, since Leeds are reluctant to sell him. Apart from one blip during the fire sale period, Leeds are not a selling club, and now we are financially stable then it's going to take silly money to prize one of our star players away from us. I just feel you've missed the point, Norwichfan, that it's not about how much he is actually valued at as an individual player, it's about how much you'd have to pay Leeds to persuade them to part with his company. That sum goes up drastically when you factor in the fact that he has this season run rings around the defenses of most clubs in this division, as well as the defense of a top Premier League side. Last season he was seen doing the same against the dirt, Spurs and the bin dippers. Put in lamens terms that you can understand, if Norwich City had Snodgrass, would YOU want to part with his company for less than £6 million?
Wes is one of the first names on the sheet in my opinion. Absolutely impossible to leave him out, a very tricky player who is capable of winning matches, as he has done many times in the past. Also Snodgrass and Hoolahan are totally different types of players, there is no point comparing them both.
This guy above me is correct. While Hoolahan is absolutely electric (he ran rings around our centre mid) he's no better at his job than Snodgrass (who runs rings around fullbacks week after week). I actually think Hoolahan would be a fantastic replacement for Kilkenny, since he provides everything that fat pudding did plus way more, and he does it all better.
