I think all the hooligans should be locked in a cage with each other, then they can fight until they're all dead and nobody else gets hurt. Seems like a perfect outcome.

No place in football at all for violence, so that's a massive NO to firms and hooligans.
Ultras however, with flares (as long as they're not been thrown) and banners and flags are more than fine in my view, but people don't seem to be able to draw the line and it often leads to violence.

    This.

Even Blyth Spartans have 'ultras'. A big drum and green smoke bombs, annoying? Perhaps to some but it adds to the atmosphere so long as they are not violent (which to my knowlege they are not).

Problem is, when a fan has a potentially harmfull 'weapon', the officials simply cannot trust a stranger to have honest intentions. Sad for the people who just want to make a loud and flashy display but clubs can't take the risk.

When I typed that I had Blyth half in mind, after seeing pics of the green smoke bomb during the Cup match vs Gateshead. Looks brilliant with the banners and that and helps them make more noise. If people don't like it, they don't have to sit near that end, simples.

Absolutely no time for football hooligans/casuals/whatever. They're a part of British culture (alongside seaside amusement parks) I'd gladly see banished into the ether, never to bother anyone again. ****ing numbskulls, especially the Celtic/Rangers lot. They should all be fired out of a cannon into the North Sea, ****s.

A bit drastic, but you were never one for mincing words.

What do you get if you mince words? Alphabetti Spaghetti, that's what. And what good is that, eh?

    Exactly.
