Oh those are fun! Last Eurovision Party I went to was in 2009 and it was great fun, especially as the UK did quite well that year so it we all got a bit crazy when we were awarded 12 points! There were also drinking games there which involved lots of drunkenness, but I was in the process of courting one of the girls there, I didn't drink as I didn't want to get drunk and do something stupid.

Imma see if any of the local pubs are having a Eurovision party, doubt it though, and my quest to get Farnborough FC to host one seems to have failed.

I hope my friends are doing it ironically as some sort of a "let's watch some terrible music and see which countries like each other this year" thing. Still, I can't even enjoy it that way.

 

I'm going to my first/last Eurovision party tonight. I guess this possibly means I'll have to watch most of it...I didn't think this through.

Scotland are playing England at cricket, about a mile from my gaff. I somehow can`t muster the enthusiasm to wander along.

I watched Eurovision last year and just found it quite odd, yet amusing. Will probably watch it tonight as we have people round.

What does the party involve ?

Did it once and the lowest score of each round had to drink Tequila ( sp ) .

I hate the stuff , was so ill missed the final vote .

Always liked the Eurovision until the break up of the east , voting used to be the best !!!

Yes it has been temporarily closed to guests by admins (on purpose). For a reason that I do not really understand. Happened yesterday as well but should be back to normal soon.

 

Achievement Unlocked. I just became a Veteran of this forum. That's another one ticked off the bucket list.
