Penalties....why don't they save time and just give the Dutch the cup. Apparently Rickie said today that no professional should miss a penalty...Rickie, Rickie, Rickie!

Ye of little faith Fran, I was confident we would do it, I always am when England take pens <whistle>

Maybe Rickie said that because he has been training them in the dark arts at St George's Park, knowing full well they wouldn't miss under his tutelage!!

Help, I need your wisdom to instruct me on who to vote for in the EU elections.

I'm leaning towards Greens or Conservatives.

Benefit of the Green Manifesto is that they don't spend half of it slagging off the opposition like in the Conservative or Labour manifestos.

They are all as bad as each other. Just close your eyes and blindly pick one.

No you don't need help. Have a look at their manifestos and decide who you think would do the best job. It's purely a matter of opinion so there is no wrong answer. I always vote, mainly because there are so many people who have died just to have that right, it seems flippant not too. Many will not see it that way, but that's fine as well. As Churchill said, "democracy is the worst system, apart from all the others".
    Oh, yes!

Greens have a great representation in the EU so I'm going for them.

He also bears a striking resemblance to actor Ian Hart. This is possibly due to the fact that it is actor Ian Hart. :)

I'm curious that you picked those two out, of the main(ish) parties they're probably the furthest apart.

Don't forget you've got two votes tomorrow, one for Europe and one for your local council. Speaking purely tactically, i'd vote for whoever you want in Europe as that's PR. But i'd take a look at your local elections because it's FPTP so it's more than likely it'll be a straight up choice between the tories or labour. Of course you're more than welcome to ignore that and just vote with your heart. Your choice!

Voting Tory in the EU, Independent incumbent guy for the council who used to be Labour. Want an EU referendum, but I'm not voting for racist UKIP. The local councilor has prevented some cuts so he seems all right. Some cuts have needed to happen, but I'd prefer them not to be in my ward!
