Just finished the first season of American Horror Story. Never has a show gone downhill so fast across one series....

My post-exam games of choices will probably be Battleblock Theatre and Assetto Corsa, but if Wolfenstein is getting good reviews I may check it out.

I suspect he just feels like he's not appreciated and there's no real team togetherness there, and this was just the last straw. Look at the chemistry of our squad and try and imagine the City players having the same thing. I can't see it. If he's prioritising working somewhere he has friends and is appreciated, good on him.

Ah that's a shame. My friend has given me the first series to watch although I haven't gotten round to it yet, shame on him for giving me a stinker. However, he also lent me Stewart Lee Carpet Remnant World so I guess that kinda evens it out!

A series I am interested in checking out is House of Cards, anyone seen that?

I've decided all I need to be happy is a laptop with FM and a PS2 with TimeSplitters 2.

And my PS3 for when Bethesda release new games.

It's not a stinker as such, it starts really well and is creepy - they just seemed to run out if ideas to be honest, and the last episode was a clusterfuck.

Soon as that happens I'll get a PS4. Though actually I may want one for the new Kingdom Hearts as well.

Ok, well maybe I will give it a go then, i'll let you know what I think of the infamous last episode :D It's been sitting there and I haven't watched it yet, not sure why.

Instead I recently re watched a series I thought was fantastic that came out on channel 4 last year I think it was - Utopia. They are meant to be doing a 2nd series, coming out some time this year I think. I also see they are doing an American remake which I am normally resistant about, however it's being made by HBO and directed by David Fincher so I think it could be a goodun. The first series is on 4OD so if anyone is interested in having a watch (it's only 6 episodes long) I strongly urge them to check it out.

Oh yeah, FM will still be happening. How could I not keep playing it after the thousands of hours I've played it over the years?

I have seen about half of it I think. I want to watch it all but I have stupidly promised a friend who I watched the first bit with that I would wait until I see him again to watch the rest. I may be getting mixed up with Comedy Vehicle but has CRW got the part about anal rape and rectal bleeding in?!

What did you think of the latest series of Comedy Vehicle? I thought the bits with Chris Morris were excellent (as was Armando Iannucci previously) and the last episode where they were pretty much laughing at the absurdity of it all was great. I just wish there were more episodes each series!

I have vague recollections of something to do with rectal bleeding but I can't remember which show that was either. My favourite part of CRW is probably when he reads out mean comments written about him online.

Latest series of Comedy Vehicle was brilliant.

Ooh is there a new Kingdom Hearts a coming? I hadn't played it for years but got hold of a copy of Kingdom Hearts 1.5 and have recently started playing a little. The 1.5 version seems a little strange, there is a card based battle game thing and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days whatever that is?!

No I am getting mixed up as the rectal bleeding is in one of them and in the other he goes on about the parasitic worm hanging out of a cats anus, similar themes! Both pretty wrong, but that's just good old Stu.

Jesus that's strange! This talk of CRW got me excited so I've decided to re watch some. I put the DVD in the ps3 and it started playing at exactly the point where I left it last time!! It's been weeks if not months since it's last been in there and various games/films have been played since then. How the devil has it remembered that?! The good thing is that it's told me where I have seen up to, 52 mins out of 2hrs (I did think I had seen about half!) so at least I know how much I can watch until I get to the point where I left it with my friend.

Joe, the bit we were discussing is indeed in Carpet Remnant World. He's talking about when a joke isn't funny enough comedians will tack an extra bit on the end, usually about anal rape and rectal bleeding and it nudges it into being funny. An old stand up trick, and in the trade it's known as boyles law. Must stop repeating those words now, although I guess Stew would like the repetition. Haven't seen the bit where he reads out the online comments about him, I'll look forward to that when I watch the rest.
