It's a railway station. It has a track and a bridge.

 

Looks like... Erm, it looks like a train station.

Also having been there I can officially confirm it is indeed a train station. All power to Hedge End I suppose.

 

But look at that paint job! It makes the trains stand out so much.

 

It has a nice wooden bridge though that is rather aesthetically pleasing.

There's that little village in Surrey that Dan might know. Between Guildford and Shamley Green. Can't remember its name. It's got to be the smallest village in the world to have a railway station. Totally unnecessary.
