It really isn't. All it requires is the capability to enjoy yourself without getting pissed. Hardly rocket surgery, is it?

Right, but a lot of people can't do that. I often prefer a night in with people rather than a night out, but there are a fair few people who just can't.

Going off you Joe. Going off you.

Now you mention it, if I were to go out with friends and socialise, I don't know where we'd go other than a bar. I mean we sometimes hang out and eat and play FIFA, but that's just in the daytime.

That's my point. Especially through university, the majority of socialisation involves going out to bars and clubs, and if you don't drink then it's painfully tedious and you're not getting the same experience anyway.

I've only been drunk a few times, but it's really fun, probably my lack of drinking is why I savour the moment more. Despite being sick, I've never had a hangover or drunk loads, and don't plan on doing so. Blue eyed people tolerate alcohol better apparently (woo), but I'm quite skinny so that cancels it out!

I did feel sorry for one of my muslim mates during Uni who did stick strictly to the whole no alcohol part of his religion. Not just because he was often surrounded by drunk people, but also because he was always the one stuck with driving people around. There were a couple of guys who would try and pressure him to drink as well. Didn't like those guys.

GMI/Barry Sanchez/Tosser of the century has just been banned from SaintsWeb for making up complete bullshit about Lallana. Can't believe it took them so long, that forum has always had its nutters, but he has almost singlehandedly destroyed it.

In my experience that stays the same as you get older, especially for men. Most of my socialising in my 20s was either watching or playing sport of some kind, going for a drink or a combination of the two. Plus stuff like work drinks.

Being from Ireland and going to Uni in England, my liver has taken a fair hit because people think I should be able to drink just about anything that is thrown at me :(

You know I'm always complaining about the WSL? Well here's another reason I dislike it (and nothing to do with Portsmouth!).

Today Leeds United Ladies team were relegated from the (now) third tier of English women's football. Next season they'll be playing in the fourth tier. Just last season they were playing in the second tier and they nearly won the league, they also reached the league cup final and they won it back in 2010. They nearly won the second tier the season before last. Going further back prior to the creation of the Super League, they were in the top tier and often finished within the top four, they've also recently reached the final of the FA Women's Cup.

Now a team with such an illustrious history will be playing in the fourth tier. Why you ask (well you probably don't but I'm going to answer anyway). Well the fact is there is absolutely no form of protection or compensation for any teams outside of the WSL. A WSL club can just come in, sign a player and only has to give seven days notice, no matter what time it is in the year (there are no transfer windows).

With such a decent team, Leeds ended up losing a lot of players. In fact, 17 players have been signed for WSL clubs, that's more than a squad's worth. And Leeds didn't get a single penny. How can a team remain competitive after losing that many players in such a short space of time?! It's ridiculous and completely unjustifiable.

And there's nothing to stop it happening to other clubs. Sheffield have won the Premier League North, how many of their players are going to by vacuumed up by WSL clubs? In the Premier League South, Coventry could win the league, but then what will happen to their players? The best ones will likely be hoovered up by WSL clubs. There's Aston Villa, they may take a few. Maybe Birmingham might. Then who knows, they may be relegated next season. It's absolutely morally scandalous. It'd be like most of Liverpool's squad leaving then they'd get relegated to the Championship the following season.
