Being Captain is a hard job anywhere - business, politics, football. Leadership qualities are learned not inherent and we need to give the lad a chance. I can name a lot of "Captains" who were not the most talented or prolific but had a massive influence behind the scenes, whether that be stability, charisma, influence, persuasion, morale, backbone, PR, or a thousand other things. If that's Jack Ross's choice please lets support it and give the lad some confidence.
