Stupid comment really - Jack Wilshere had only 3 assists and 1 goal last season - Henderson had 5 and 3 (and was the 5th best at creating chances in the entire premier league - including Man Utd, Chelsea Liverpool etc) Our opinions (Sunderland fans) on Henderson differs a lot of the time - I personally rate the lad very highly and think he will become an excellent player. He played 75 games in the last 2 seasons and has only turned 21 this week which, I believe, is why he looked poor and jaded in the second half of last season. If he is over played then I think he'll struggle, but if he's given time to develop and fit into the squad and brought through slowly then I think you'll have yourselves a very good player. I do think £20m was over the top for him but it's the going rate for young english talent ATM.

Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaauuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuulllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll. i have heard that the total deal £19.25 million, £14 million up front, realistic add ons price will be £17.5 million, if he moves on when the £17.5 million trigger met we get a further 1.75, subject to transfer fee being over £19.25. Its in all our interests, Liverpool, Sunderland & England for him to do well. Liverpool see him as the real deal and and expect him to stick around so he will not be sold for more that £17.5.
