This Board is going to be a nightmare if one team gets promoted and the other doesn't. It will be like world war 3

<laugh> You think it will be any better if we both go up!?

Or, for that matter, if neither of us go up!?

In my experience, when teams go up, or down, they don't tend to go on each others boards any more, as they're on different pages(certainly happened on the old 606).

Thats what I think. At first there will be alot of wums but after that I think it will go very quiet between the boards

Said by someone with a strange, and fairly biased, not to forget absolutely crazy, point of view.

We're all entitled to our opinions. You're happy with your player, we're happy with ours. No need to be offensive because someone disagrees with you! <laugh>

And besides, as Jack said. Konch is a DEFENDER not an attacking fullback. We have Knocks for that. I'm sure you don't want to even start comparing there.

On comparing Konchesky to Brady. Brady is a young player making his way in the game. Steve Bruce is trying to mould him into a wing back while Konchesky is a natural full back

Konchesky has proven himself in the premiership over a number of years. At this moment in time with our young our squad is and what we require I would have Konchesky over Brady

I think Steve Bruce is just following Sir Alex on this one - after his loan spell with us as a winger last season Brady was played as a left back by Alex Ferguson. Many of us have been surprised at how well he's adapted and he seems to be improving with every game. Under normal circumstances Joe Dudgeon would have been our first choice in this role (whereas Brady is a natural winger who can defend, Dudgeon is a natural defender who is also good at getting forward) - sadly Dudgeon was ruled out for the season at a very early stage and this created the opening for Brady's return.
Like many City supporters I'm very impressed with Brady's improvement over the last year and am "over the moon" that he's now signed on a permanent for us.

Either way Brady is still learning while Konchesky is a very experienced player and one of the best in the league. Yes I accept he has his faults but at this minute Konch would bring more to a team like us then Brady would

Let's compromise by saying Brady is the better long term option but Konch is better right now.

Maybe we'll have Brady off them in a season or two, when they've given him a bit of experience. <ok>

I often visit the Hull board to enrich their lives with my mixture of wit, public service information and 'pearls of wisdom' ... they have my solemn commitment that I would not let a little thing like us being promoted and them not deprive them of that .. <whistle>

    No, no, no.

He was more than good enough for West Ham and Fulham for years then he went to Liverpool and ****ed up big time.

A lot of Manchester United fans were disappointed to see Brady leave. A lot of Liverpool fans held street parties when Konchesky left.

I doubt he'd want to drop back down to the Championship to join you after spending a few years in the top flight with us <cheers>

I thought Konchesky was by far your worst player against us, though I should like him really, his cock up for Fulham gave us our first ever win in the Premier League.

Bit odd when he'd been your top scorer the 2 seasons prior to the one he signed for us in...
