I meant credit. Elmo is one of your Egyptians, albeit a former Bruce player. The rest (Aluko aside), not too many we'd take.
Ah, makes more sense, well a lot, both the Allams and Bruce are worthy of immense credit as far as I'm concerned. Yes, but the reason we signed Elmo was Bruce not the Allams, other than their investment in the deal obviously. It's not a case of who you'd take and turning it into another pissing competition, clearly the point was Bruce has performed admirably and to say that Bruce signing Proschwitz 'Says it all.' would be the comment of someone possessing immense stupidity.
Bruce brought them in, he is the only English manager that looks at Egyptian leagues - he brought to UK shores Zaki, Elmohamady, Gedo, Fathi.
Yes - Bruce. He seems to be the only UK manager to utilise the Egyptian market. Brought Elmo and Zaki over to the UK.
I wasn't trying to compare dick sizes with saying we wouldn't have those players, simply that most of the players at Hull I rate (Chester, Koren, Hobbs) you already had. Neither am I saying Bruce's signings are ****, but it's pretty clear that Hull's major problem for a number of season now is goal scoring. You were already decent in most other positions, so it had to be the priority to get this sorted. Bruce's answer to this was Prozzie. Your owners' was Gedo. Early days on Gedo obviously, but the signs are that you owners have succeeded where Bruce failed. Until Gedo, it looked like this failure was going to cost you promotion. Your owners pretty much got Bruce out of the ****, as his many efforts to bring in a recognised Championship striker met with one failure after another. As I said thought it's early days for Gedo. It will be interesting over the next four games to see how he performs away from home.
I didn't have any view on Gedo. I've seen him play 45 minutes of football he he did nothing. I said that the AFCoN and the Egyptian league are mickey mouse competitions and I said don't get too excited about it. What's he scored? 2 in 4? Hardly earth shattering
I suppose 1 in 4 would still make the Hull fans spaff their knickers. They've not had a striker scoring goals for years.
Konch over Brady, REALLY? To be completely unbiased I'd say that's bollocks, Brady's twice the player Konch is, and Brady's still a bairn yet!
Completely unbiased of course! Konchy has been one of the only players that's still gave 100% over the last three games, even if he should have done better for Hudderfield's second.
He played less than 45 minutes in each of his first three matches, so it's more like three in two-and-a-half
No? He got 16 last season. How many did the 'prolific' Nugent get, and, er, your mate Gally, and, er, did anyone else score for Leicester last season? Do you want a bigger spade to go with that shovel?
