I'm really looking forward to Season 3 of this.
Proper edge of the seat stuff.

It's interesting that the yanks get Brits in to do lead Americans so much these days (House, Homeland being just two examples)

It's ok for pure entertainment value, but obvious for the propaganda it is against whoever America's agenda is against at the time.

Soldier gets kidnapped in Iraq and turned into an Al Qaeda agent true Manchurian style one season.
Soldier is suddenly working for Hezbollah in Lebanon in the next season.

Aside from the fact Hezbollah don't do suicide bombings, the fact the writers don't realise the two organisations are sworn enemies (in fact they probably do, they just realised half the viewing public wouldn't be educated enough to notice) is enough to make you <doh>

I can't see how they can keep this going there were some strange plot lines in S2 and I'm hoping this doesn't get silly. If they make this the fianl season then it could be good but if it continues they it will certainly go downhill.

Well it ended rather surprisingly like.
Spoiler alter in this NSFW wrapper....

[NSFW]Looks like they are deffo making a new season too.
Damien Lewis.. although his character 'died' signed a 5 year deal with them a bit back so it looks like his hanging was staged.[/NSFW]

How can he possibly return...?

See here...

[NSFW]Apparently specualtion is saying that the Iranian dude staged it so he could rise to power....yet keep a bargaininig chip (Broadie) over the US who stitched him up over the embezzelment...... Carrie moves to Istanbul as station chief to watch the Iranian and Briadie tries to get out.... and Carrie learns of him being alive and helps..... apparently when someone is hanged it can take a full 20 mins to actually die... Carrie fled the scene within a couple of minutes and we never actually saw a proper dead body did we?[/NSFW]

Rumour has it Saul will be back too.
Just read a prequel book called 'carries home run'.. Top notch.
