Valley Pass Live is terrific. I enjoy Curbs' banter with his former players, Jon Fortune still calls him the gaffer. It was quite funny that Steve Brown was praising the defence for giving away a corner, then Northampton scored from it. Still loves Brownie's insights into the game, it really is an education, and tells you what is happening off the ball. The commentators are obviously biased as a bowl, but Steve Brown doesn't let his bias get in the way of telling it as it is.

Must win from here on in :emoticon-0165-muscl Victory or bust.

Even a patchwork of draws and wins won't really help now.
Too many other teams around & above us have games in hand and are playing really decent football at times.
Every game is a Cup Final...

UP THE ADDICKS! :emoticon-0152-heart

I don't know. Games in hand often leave the players knackered and performances slip. We still aren't firing on all cylinders, but we seem to be getting back to playing as a team. No one's going to get all the points - we are in the hunt still, in spite of losing to Burton and Gillingham.

Hope you're right Ken.

It's true that games in hand can be squandered by unexpected results. Part of what makes football so fascinating...

Got some essential journeying to do this morning - will be back online by about lunchtime <ok>

Started looking forward to the games again; a couple of weeks ago I was dreading them.

Agreed.

Some important questions though -

1. Will Famewo make a return to the side?
2. Will Albie stay in the team?
3. Which beers will be drunk by Smudger this afternoon? Answers in the booze thread please :police:

Me too. Not expecting us to turn into a footballing machine destroying any club that crosses our path, but we might...
A) pass better
B) defend better
C) score a couple, and
D) give @Smudger603 something to go with his beer.

All in all a long awaited improvement.
Prediction- hairy 3-2 win for us.
