Well that went well! To be honest, after theri goal, they could have had at least one or maybe two more and put the game to bed. After our equaliser, it really looked as if we would go on and win it. May really should have buried that one that hit the post, and we had a couple of oter half chances. For me, the foul on May was a straight red as there was nobody between him and the goal, and the resulting free kick was appalling. And then Rovers go and score a winner.

Frankly, had the ref given a red card, I think the scoreline would have stayed at 1-1. But despite some bright moments by us, we got zero points and there were a few bad performances out there. Payne really didn't fit in to the system all night, and was responsible for the free kick that led to their first goal after a stupid foul. Camara and CBT both wasted good opportunities by making bad decisions when other players were well placed. Overall, it was a night to forget, and just showed the need to get in some more quality players,

I didn't think Alfie should have taken that free-kick, he looked far too angry.

Just looking at the L1 table stats.
Charlton are the only team who won on the opening day, then lost their next two league games.

Christ that was frustrating. It’s very rare I stay that late, like to beat the rush, but stayed last night as felt something was coming. Wish I hadn’t
