It shows total contempt for away fans, particularly when they have to travel a long way.At least Fulham is fairly local, but Preston ain't.
Stoke have been reported for an illegal approach, Neil publically stated going nowhere also incredibly we will have at 1000 at the Valley for dinner time, technically you could have had Chris Maxwell as playing for both sides although he did keep the bench warm on his loan spell last season
We didn't see how good Maxwell was because Phillips was in the form of his life with the exception of one backpass …. I am sure he (Maxwell) is a good keeper.
The Charlton ticket system is down at the Valley So you can’t link your purchases to your loyalty points today, and you can’t choose a seat as they have only pre printed what they can. Someone complain to the CEO ...
Good effort from your lads bringing 1000, glad your kids could get in for a quid today. Hope your adult fans try it as well, ours will. Anything to deprive the Belgian prick of money
Out muscled Questionable Penalty Out played Insufficient effort. Gave too much respect to Preston Naby had an 'indifferent' 45 minutes Gallagher MOM. Game to forget!
The atmosphere seemed flat from the start compared to usual, and so did the team. Preston were well organised and hard working, and without Williams or Taylor we lacked the guile to get through them. A massive improvement next week please.
I don’t normally comment on the opposition ...but what a filthy, cynical and limited side Preston are. Albeit well drilled by their ugly jock manager. Grown men feigning injury and wasting time from 45 min onwards...not a pretty or creditable sight I’m afraid. As for us - poor. Our worst performance of the season by a distance. Kayal is nicking a living and Sarr was a liability. We need a massive improvement at the Den next Saturday. Fvck you, Preston.
Bow confirms that Ben Amos is long term injury https://www.londonnewsonline.co.uk/...lor-out-of-next-weekends-derby-with-millwall/ Looks like Phillips needs to be wrapped up in cotton wool to make sure he's fit.
Considering that Preston were marginally the better side their gamesmanship seemed unnecessary. It also seemed to be organised, as they were taking it in turns to work the ref, who didn't come out of it too well, but it was difficult for him. When Cullen has a quiet game our midfield just doesn't seem to function. When he's on song, which is most games he keeps everything ticking over. With Kayal going AWOL for long periods Gallagher and Pratley played well enough individually, but were always outnumbered. Bonne looked lost on his own up front, and Leko will probably return next week. I expect Kayal will get another chance, but it wouldn't surprise me if he is dropped for Lapslie, and if we play 3 at the back Oshilaja could come in for Naby.
