Not a great game, very scrappy. The only good thing was the clean sheet. We need to get three points on Tuesday. Keep the pressure on.
Working meant I missed this - it sounded a bit average. It didn't sound as if we were going anyplace second half, which makes the lack of shake up a bit of a worry. On to Plymouth, who are in real trouble, and can be expected to battle. We need a bit of a spark, or a lucky break somewhere - clean sheets are great but unless the goals keep coming, the play offs aren't going to happen.
Still in the mix and onto Plymouth definitely miss Washington’s industry and goals pre injury and Aneke option from the bench .
After the dour MK defeat it would be just like Charlton to play up in this match and maybe even get a result. But the apparent weakness of our squad plus injuries / suspensions makes such a surprise even less likely. I just hope we give them a good game. Can't reasonably ask for more in these difficult times.
Two injuries have upset us, but we looked absolutely on the ropes for the lat 15 minutes. Our passing constantly broke up our own attacks, and by the end of the half, we were looking amateur at the back too. I don't know how we dhskevthis up - Ipswich didn't do much for most of the half, but they were on the up, and I can't remember a dhoti from us, apart from the Stockley tap in the first five minutes. I may do a bit of gardening now.
