I think we are all a bit cagey because we have struggled a bit against poor sides ( West Ham, Southampton and Leicester) compared to how we looked earlier in the season. I would love to win it in style against Spurs, at Anfield on a sunny day but whatever, It’s coming home
I'm not "cagey", I'm confident we'll win and secure the title. I'm not confident about how well we'll play, I'd obviously prefer a comfortable 4-0 but if it's a scrappy odd goal then so be it
We’ve only lost two league games all season, I think the crowd will really be up for this and the atmosphere will be great. Let’s win this in style
It would be very spursy to win this game out of all the others they’ve been **** for though and give Arsenal a glimmer of hope?
What would.be most spurs is to be heroic at anfield then lose the europa game the following midweek. However it's entirely.up to us to show we are still capable like that 4-0
I want the players to leave everything out there. I want to see them run like it's psg not port Vale. Win it well. The last thing I want to see is a side defending 1-0 or 2-1 for 15 to 20mins while being battered by a side who can't ****ing defend.
Agree, I'd like for us to win it in style. Having said that, if Alisson has to make 20 saves and VVD has to boot the ball out of play in the 94th minute to secure a 0-0 then I won't be complaining.
Of course it matters Its kind of hard to celebrate madly after losing. You wajt to have a big win and start celebrating and going mad after 25mins. I really want spurs to look forlorn and ange to be well grumpy.
Yeah an early goal and the jubilation etc should have the team really enjoying themselves and going for it
Yes this going for it thing. "Long have I desired to look upon the kings of old" who would bloody score at least a second before tapping it about the back.
Just realised this game is on at the same time as the FA Cup semi-final. With all the crazy spread-out fixtures due to TV these days, who organised that?
2 sleeps to go. Sky don't have the fa cup so it's not in their interest to move games away from their prime slot to help a competitor. Simple really. The fa could have cleared the calendar if they wanted to have the fa cup semis on a weekend and on their own. Cups should be midweek by default until the final. The fa cup has weekend slots cleared for 2 round early and then the fa rely on teams going out to allow sky show games on the weekends to directly compete with thr fa cup. It would be very easy use Wednesday nights for fa cup and league cup and it "works" alright most of the time in the league cup
