Yes. Only if they do that. As I said in don't even expect them to get near 85 now. 3 more draws and their season is over and thst game no longer matters. Arteta sounds defiant in his presser but his team has folded before. It's entirely up to them to try apply a little pressure on us now. Forest away is a real test for anyone even if forest have gotten a lot worse defensively. Man utd away hasn't been a challenge for anyone lately. But that's also next. And they finish the period off with Chelsea at home which frankly look shot to bits by changing to a back 3 and palmer is out of form. If they play those 3 games while we play 2 and they don't close the gap they will give up imo. Forest could roll them over before we even kick off v Newcastle for all we know. It's entirely up to arsenal to start chasing. They've let all the pressure on us drop despite us drawing too many games.
Chris Sutton has gone for narrow home win 2:! Anfield, 20:15 GMT This fixture has plenty of history behind it - Liverpool's 4-3 win at Anfield in 1996 will always be remembered as a Premier League classic. Newcastle come into it in good shape after a good win over Nottingham Forest, but the way Liverpool beat Manchester City was extremely impressive. It was such a mature performance by Arne Slot's side to soak up City's possession and be so clinical in front of goal. I think we know by now that Slot's side will be hard to beat, while Newcastle are still quite up and down - they were very poor when they went to Etihad Stadium last week. They are capable of giving Liverpool a good game but I am going to say that the leaders will take the points, and carry on their title charge. Along with Forest striker Chris 'The Wood Chopper' Wood, Newcastle's Alexander Isak has been one of the best players in the Premier League this season, but there is only one candidate to be crowned Player of the Year. Liverpool's Mohamed Salah's numbers are extraordinary and he looks as hungry as ever. He has been relentless, and he is not done yet. Sutton's prediction: 2-1 Paige's prediction: A good friend of mine from university is a Newcastle fan, and she sent me a very annoyed voice-note last week after the Manchester City game, about how bad they were. They were much better against Forest on Sunday but no-one is stopping Liverpool now. 3-1 Jones knows best has gone for comfortable home win.3:1
Not sure about that but they gave all they had. We could have played a different way on a different day and tonked city but we gave all we had in just defending.
Last minute change of referee Stuart Attwell is now going to referee the game between Liverpool. No reason has been given for this change.
