Yes our home form has plummeted to an all time low and has become an embarrassment, but let's not kid ourselves that our home since our last promotion has been anything less than appalling.

52 home wins out of 138 games in the championship.

From the first season of promotion to last season 7, 11, 11, 8, 8, 7 out 23 home games per season.

That equates to a 37.68% win ratio. That is mind boggling in relation to where we could have finished if now 3 managers had been able to address that statistic?

During my extremely rare visits to see City play at home during the last 25 years I have only seen them win once and that was the play-off match vs Hartlepool. All of my other matches ended in draws and generally with late goals to deny us the extra 2 points. I don't care which manager was in charge it still means our home record is utterly dire and needs to change now if we truly want to be considered a perennial challenger. Already at this early point in the season we have given away 4 points on late goals at home and the problem isn't going away unless changes are made in our methods and attitudes. It is starting to look as if the same old rubbish will be the fare served up by a squad that should be much better than they pretend to be. What is the answer we need this time out?
