Hull
I hope it's ok to post a new thread about this.

Home attendances, league and cups, are a popular discussion on here and instead of looking through all the other threads to see them, is it ok to discuss them here?

I've boycotted for many years and I don't take any gratification from the dwindling numbers. It's just a sad indictment of the regime.

From the Ipswich match day thread:

Attendance was between 8-9k.

Shocking.
Any news on official attendance? 12k maybe?

Because my son will never be a Hull city fan. Unlike his father, grandfather & great grandfather.

I’m sure there are 1000’s of kids like my son, no interest in hull city

Fair enough, I hope you and your son get the interest back again soon, although I fear the clowns in charge will be here for a while yet.

And yet there are still some morons who don't see the allams have done wrong, had some ****** on twitter the other day blaming low crowds on relegation

I'm sure the PL whores that we attracted have skulked off back to MOTD & SKY, they're no real loss - the majority were never here for the duration. Yer ****** on Twatter (I'm guessing PL whore) needs to realise the loss of hardcore support and the kids for the future far outweighs the loss of any through relegation alone. The club's in free-fall and slowly dying on its arse.

There has always been a level of fickleness in this city- witness the late 70s when a Hull FC team pissing on Keighley, Huyton, Bpool Boro, Hunslet etc pulled a five figure gate every single home game in rugby league's second division which they won at a canter. This when City struggled to get 5,000.

People enjoy supporting a winning team so too many people switched from City to RL and LFC, especially if you are lazy and have low self esteem this is a no brainer.

That's why we see so many dumb ****s with LFC gear on, some of them at least 60 years old.

Now that Hull's bubble has burst, their trophies have dried up, it will be interesting to see how their gates hold up.

Our gates are **** for various reasons, and the lightweights have switched their allegiance to Hull, but they will have to get off that bandwagon soon. Can only mean an uptake in Sky subscriptions and more Man City shirts in town.
