Unfortunately football isn't like that these days. Even if a club is riding high, the player's doing well and the fans love him loyalty will come second to money and the opportunity to play at bigger clubs.
Yes he does, his spelling and grammar are atrocious! He always uses "use" instead of "you all" so I'm afraid that's 100%, definitely him. Who has he had disagreements with though? This is clearly a combination of money and moving further back up north, I have no doubts he'll end up not at Villa but with MON at Sunderland
He has his own character-saving shortened words for twitter! That is exactly how he types! Use = you's etc.
I can't see Holt going to be honest, no matter how much he wants out. We won't sell him unless we get an offer of considerably more than he is worth and I'm not sure who will pay that...
So! After all the positive noises about how well our club is being run, I think this week smacks of some real internal issues that have not become public. Has McNally been flexing his muscle a little too much this time? Our two most influential assets wanting out in the space of a few days beggars belief.
I have said it before on numerous occasions,ALL players, managers etc are mercenaries, I don't know why we expect anything else? There is no such thing as loyalty in football. If Holt or anyone wants to go,show them the door and bank the money. I am utterly pissed off.
To be honest, I think McNally has only done/said what he has had to to keep our target for being financially safe - read Canary Rob's article.
Wage structure is all well and good, but if Holty goes we've lost a 15 goal striker... could be the difference between premiership and championship in a seasons time. Holty should be our top earner really which apparently he isn't (Morison), although if he's asking for silly money Mcnally would be right to stand his ground
Sell him, blimey lambert dropped him for 30% of the season cause he did not perform, Morrisson and Vaughan will do fine, really starting to think him and lambert might have ideas above thier station, he will rot on the bench anywhere else just goes to show he dont care that much for the fans anyway
Is it problems with how we are being run, or is it that those involved in football believe everything should revolve around what they want?
fair enough, i've not seen him do it to that extent having looked back over his last dozen posts he's only sub'd know for no a couple of times. Then again I don't follow every word he says so what do I know.... Hopecasting I know but despite using strong passwords I had my Twitter account hacked the other day and i've only posted about 8 tweets since I opened it so it does happen but guess we'll see. Sad times
Better to lose a player than a club. Of course it is hard to say who is right and wrong as none of us know the ins and outs of the club finances and what Holt is asking for.
trouble is, if he doesn't want to be a NCFC it could disturb the rest of the dressing room.... i'm going up to North Wales tonight for a week, no internet connection. Going to bury my head in the sand for a week with all things football related.
I accept and understand all the finance side of it (other than why we cannot restructure the loan again) but for heavens sake, to lose the best manager we have had sine Mike Walker and the best striker we have had since Chris Sutton (who both also buggered off at the same time due to the board - and the rest is history) is a sicken-er to most Canaries fans I would imagine. Just hope we can find suitable replacements for both (with nearly sod all money available + whatever we get for GH)
