he said on the radio that some one wrote some nasty comments about him thats why he put in transfer request in. they are meeting with mcnally today about this. the person who put these comments on should be ashamed of themselves.

holt don't listen to those mugs. everyone else loves you lets all get cheer holt aswell on tuesday night he needs our support.
 
Back tracking.....

Cobblers after some of the stuff I read on Twitter over the Welsh/racist comments how could anyone possibly upset Holty unless it was someone at Carrow Road? He usually just laughs this stuff off so what's changed??
 
yep, agreed, holt isn't accross very well in this is he....

could just be a load of handbags, however he's put half the premier league clubs on alert
 
If it was because of comments made towards Holt, but he still did not want to leave the club why would you hand in a transfer request? Surely you would just have a meeting with Mcnally or Lambert to discuss the problem. Presumably there is more to this than meets the eye.
 
I knew Lambert shouldn't have called him crap at the POTS dinner.

What comments and who by ? The whole thing stinks it really does.

Agent: " Grant, How do you fancy a move ? I've already spoken to X and they are prepared to treble your money. I've also put in a transfer request for you just to test Norwich's resolve.

Holt: "You've dont ****ing what ?"

Agent: "Don't worry, Norwich will come up with an improved offer and the worst case scenario is you get a move, treble your salary and I get a nice little earner, luvly jubbly "

Holt: (Holds head in hands) "FFS"

Wouldn't surprise me if a conversation along those lines took place, who knows ?
 
I don't imagine the club will tell us anything much until after Drury's testimonial which is understandable as else the spotlight would just be on Holt, if its not already. If the agent is been a **** Holt should just do what Hucks did and sack him. Then I am pretty sure most will forgive him.
 
Yeah, if he wants to stay at Norwich, really his agent should be advising him to sack his agent! It would undo the PR own goal.
 
That doesn't sound right to me. He's the number one target of abuse at Norwich and he knows us fans love him. The abuse Morison has received from Norwich fans this season has been FAR FAR WORSE anyway.

I doubt the club would have wanted his agent on the radio anyway. They're not going to be too happy.

Holt and McNally are apparently having a meeting this afternoon about it.

Very, very good point. I have thought throughout this that the club would have not wanted the media to be aware of this as it brings up unwanted stories and panic from the fans, as has already happened. It seems quite clear that it was Holt's agent who leaked this to the media.

i think most fans on here, and certainly my own gut reaction when i first heard the news, was that this was one of either two things: either a) holt had a family issue up north; maybe an ill relative or something like that, and needed to move back north urgently or b) his agent was being a dick. i still think its the latter from everything i've heard <ok>
