I trained as an English teacher back in the 70's. I don't know if "Lot'll" is acceptable to the current generation, but it wasn't then.
Sadly holty has let me down I had him at 150 to one to be the Premier league's top scorer. He is a must for England -GH on the bench would give England a Plan B, Plan C, Plan D .......
I have money on Norwich to stay up so I am happy with that, As it stands many of my season long bets are doing well I have bets on Gillingham and Crawley to go up in League 2, looks like Gills may let me down sadly, Charlton to outright go up in League 1 and also Exeter to go down. Soton, West Ham and Blackpool to go up in the Championship, these are all separate bets so it don't matter if only 2 go up, Man City or Man Utd to win the league, Norwich to stay up, QPR to stay up, Swansea to go down- Sounds mad but I placed these a few days before the season started and that is what I believed, but with the most of them I have done well.
A Norwich fan uses apostrophes in the wrong places, so you felt the need to have a go. However, you can write poorly constructed sentences as it need not always be formal. As you're so keen to use web-links to belittle people, maybe you should check up what 'double standards' means. By the way, if lot'll is in the Oxford English Dictionary, you could push me over with a feather!
http://www.informatics.sussex.ac.uk/department/docs/punctuation/node20.html There you go Carra and Cruyff, this'll explain contractions for you... Perhaps you taught at Kemp's school Cruyff?
The thing that perplexes me is that when Holt Scores for England in the euros are the Ipswich fans going to be hypocrites and cheer with everyone else? Or little girls and have a paddy about it? Either way, I feel sorry for Jonahs wife...
Carra, to be honest I don't actualy care about Hampys problem with my grammar. This is a football forum not an English literature forum. He is just digressing from the original subject as it hurts him to admit the truth. He is simply finding a reason not to answer the questions put to him and instead creating a personal attack about my grammar, or lack of it! This is what bullies do, always try to make themselves look superior by belittling others publicy. It is nothing more than a defence mechanism.
Rather than listen to some bitter Ipswich fans, I'm going to listen to the more impartial views here: http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...resses-england-claims-at-double-7584853.html? Oh and also here: http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/...olverhampton-wanderers-premier-league-report? In fact, it seems most of the national newspapers are calling for him. OFFICIAL END OF IPSWICH FANS' CONTRIBUTIONS TO THIS THREAD ***************************************************
.... hoadie, it says on your avatar that you are 16, if this is true then you are admitting to breaking the law by placing bets. you naughtly little boy you.
