Personally, I think all these tweets that go on from footballers could lead to trouble.
We allknow from experience on here, that the written word can be misconstrued, as you said Guru, where the spoken word, face to face so to speak, would be a lot easier to understand the meaning behind the words.

All it need is one of the pc brigade to come riding over the hill, and what can be meant as harmless banter, suddenly turns into a diplomatic incident.

Very true Maestro, I think one tweet went something like "good team, good ground, shame their welsh" you substiute Welsh for example Nigerian, no difference in the context, you are still talking in derogatory terms about a different nationality!

yet should it be deemed as acceptable?
