Did they not offer £500k??? Looks like the plan was to try & convince McCoist and the fans that they were not as skint as people were saying. If you would have accepted they would have given you abit upfront as is the norm for football transfers but you wouldn't have received anymore. See I've got you Norwich fans thinking , wee les used to play for Livingston and Ruddy was on loan at Motherwell . Celtic were linked with him , at that time your goalie was Big Fraser , how did you lot rate Fraser Foster ??? He is our most improved player this season
He was rated very high for our league 1 campaign and a lot of fans were desperate to have him back, which didn't happen. Meant Ruddy had a hard time at first but has improved incredibly fast and is now 6/4 to play at Euros so we can't complain. I think a lot of fans were surprised that Forster had such a bad season with you last year, but it's no surprise he's improved fast as he's still young. Incredible shot stopper. Is he yours or still on loan?
