The fact that Mr Holloway has generated some 60 posts indicates that he is someone who attracts debate. In other words he is a controversial character. The world would be a poorer place without characters like him.

Football must be an obscene business to allow a man who appears to be a little short of any discernible intelligence to earn substantial amounts of money with what would seem to be nothing more than a quickly fading ability to construct nothing more than a battle cry.

You need to watch his recent Millwall interviews, massively out of his depth!

    Planksy,
You really don't like Ollie, but you keep on much to much.

You'd never see me criticise any player like you do, poor Ollie.

But doesn't that describe many footballers? I remember a certain ex Bristol City loanee criticising his manager and advising that he had put in a transfer request. Pulis (the manager) replied that he took little notice of the complaint bearing in mind that the player couldn't even spell his own name correctly on the request. The perfect response. The point is that most people on this board seem to run down Holloway because he is a gas head. He is an average manager who is that bit different, no more no less. No need to pillory the man. Being a football manager is not only about intelligence its about man management. And as an ex manager myself I know that managing people is not an easy task

Yet you seem to run down Coterrill because he's City, yet proclaim to be a city fan, I don't understand it? tell me what has hollowhead done for us that deserves your better respect than Cotterill?

How have I ever disrespected Cotterill? I have criticised the way we have played in some games whilst recognising that football is a results business. I have criticised Bristol Sport in general but that has nothing to do with SC. As a customer/supporter that is something I believe I have the right to do.

For the record SC has done an excellent job at the Gate. His job is ultimately to deliver success for his employers and that is something he has done

when LARED writes about how much he loves Hollowhead I can see the connection, both ex-managers that failed in their jobs and were sacked. #losers

I don't think that I was ever sacked indeed I worked for the same employer for 42 years. I am now approaching 70 enjoying a big fat pension and perfectly prepared to not to slag someone off just because he dared say something derogatory against the team I support. Indeed I think a local rivalry between two teams in the same City is healthy. And while I am at it I am glad that the Rovers are making a good fist of recovering from their calamitous exit from the Football League. Good Luck to them. Get a life Massive Attack if you thrive on hatred then I feel sorry for you. I repeat it is only a game

Ageist then as well. As regards licking certain body parts I am afraid I cant, as I lost mine when I was 47 . Something to do with cancer of the colon. Having to deal with that perhaps has given me a more tolerant view of people and their views. Still far better a disabled body than a disabled brain.
