Perhaps Massive Attack could enlighten us as what constitutes a "nasty XXXX". Someone who is passionate about his view of sport which is different to his"?
Yeah strange how a Bristol City fan would dislike someone who openly admits he hates Bristol City with a passion.!!
One would then reasonably ask whether Massive Attack hates the Gas? One may support a team but to hate the opposition and all their supporters sounds a bit tribal to me rather than based on any sane reasoning. I thought those days had gone. I supported Chelsea last night but left admiring PSG as they were technically so superior. Football when all is said and done is only a game
I don't know if any of you play the stock market but I got a tip last week on AFC Energy. (Backed inter alia by Abramovich) I bought at 9p last week and its now 16p today. Check it out. I've deicided now that I love everybody even Massive Attack
I changed my mind about Ian Holloway when I watched a documentary about him - far more to the bloke than what you think - so I think he's ok
Can't stand the bloke and if I wanted to see a clown i'd go to the circus so Man up LARED, you must have a short memory or your CJS in disguise? I would of pushed the wan ker off that double decker all those years a go when he was giving City abuse, maybe you were in the small crowd cheering him? We hate him and he hates us. I dislike rovers with a passion as the other 99.9% of City followers do, I love it they are non-league and hope the ****ers stay down there. So stop being a 'goody goody Mr all round good egg' you big batty boy.
stop it Simon, next you'll be saying you want him as our next manager.... I just seen you in town buying your Mothers day card from Clintons, my ticket was running out otherwise we could of got cidered up in spoons!
Well I guess I am one of the 0.01%. It really is not Holloway's fault that your sense of humour by pass failed LOL
What I find bizarre is your strange affection for Ian Holloway but ability to find a fault in Steve Cotterill for the slightest thing where there doesn't seem to be any?? Football is only game you say, but you attack pretty much everything the club and manager you purport to support tries to do? Oh by the way 'massive attack' as you like to call him use to sit in the Dolman stand by me some years ago and yes he does hate the gas! But loves their money.
I have no strange affection for Holloways I just like his non conformist attitude and that he does not take life or football too seriously. Any criticisms I may have of the club are based on personal experiences. As regards the manager all I know that he has delivered us success and I congratulate him on that but like everyone he has faults
He hasn't delivered anything yet! I suggest we support him whilst he tries to do so, because it appears he might be at long last the manager that can deliver success!
A quote from the video. "I love the game but hate the business". That sums him up. He is of course absolutely right. Football is an obscene business. To me he says what many of us think . The fact he loves Bristol Rovers is irrelevant
