yeah. i borrowed your crystal ball come on, if he gets offered it he'll be off. it's not exactly a secret... and if you get €1m (you won't, it'll be half that i reckon), you'll be able to cover his rather excessive bonus from last summer
To be fair, I don't think it was that excessive. I can't think of anyone else available who'd give you as good a chance of survival as MM would, and when you balance the bonus against the money they'd have lost if relegated, it seems pretty justifiable to me. Whilst Ipswich look like they'd benefit from a financial overhaul akin to our own, there's certainly no guarantee that they would have bounced back as quickly and impressively as we did.
Well Khal my comment was with reference to the dismassal 'at the time' which you have to admit was harsh. Saints are doing very well currently, no doubt about that, where do you reckon you are going to finish? 8th has to be the ceiling as we have debated on this board before but from your point of view can you see higher than that realistically?
It only seems harsh when you look at it like a results based sacking. The Adkins sacking was a pre planned change in management. Personally, i''m after top 10 and I'd love to see us get a cup.
