They are great fun. And makes for a cheaper way to travel and have your accommodation. You know what the Yanks are like, they like all of their amenities. The last one I rented had air con, furnace, generator, cooker, fridge, shower, toilet, TV and a microwave lol. The RV parks are well set up with electric hook ups, Hot Showers, dump stations and places to refill your tanks, ranger stations etc. It's an easy and fun way to travel around.
Thirsty as **** though. The last one I had was their 'eco-line' version. It was a Ford F-150 truck on the front. 5.8 litre V8 petrol engine lol. I remember getting 8mpg out of it on the mountain roads in Sequoia national park

Currently in Marrakech. People aren't exaggerating about the taxi drivers are they? Absolute ****ing chancers

Probably my favourite city. Great place to just mooch about. People tend to be sound too as long as you’re male.

It doesn't matter which country in the world you are, if it's a holiday destination, there will be scammers.
Morocco is renowned for the hustle. It's not really scamming like somebody trying to sell you a fake Rolex on the beach either. Although there's plenty of that too lol.
But yeah, as a tourist. You'll be quoted the highest prices

Think that's the worst thing to do tbh but had no choice so far as none will stick the meter on. The meters start well cheap which why they don't want to use them.
Definitely a case of playing off each other though. Went somewhere yesterday for 30 and went taxi rank afterwards and they wanted 100 for same trip back. Took a 5 min walk and hailed one from street to get the price of 30 again.
Sicily tomorrow for just over a week. Somewhere near Catania. Going for a wedding which will have plenty of Arsenal fans so Sunday should be nice. Anyone been?
