Yeah this. I nearly got splattered by them ****ing bikes a few times on my first visit. Need eyes in the back of your head for the pests.

Go to the Bulldog just over the bridge from the main drag. If a guy called Antony (Italian) is working tell him you know me. He’ll just randomly serve you up free coffees and **** while you smoke.
I took my bird on a canal light show cruise. I thought it was mostly boring tbh, but the birds were impressed and found it romantic, my lass certainly loved it.
If you want a bit of fun then there’s the Lovers Powerzone. Ten pin bowling and everything going on in there, it’s pretty much just along and behind the central station. It’s alright for a couple of hours. The Dungeons is good and really interesting but the staff are proper freaks. That’s just directly across and up the road from the central station.
See if there’s any football on. Always good to get a game in somewhere if possible.
Not sure about curry’s and **** over there but the Argentinian steakhouse is absolutely banging. Again, just a 2 minute walk from central station.
If you don’t have anywhere to stay yet, I’d recommend staying in Sloterdijk. It’s one stop on the train from central station so you avoid the night time piss heads keeping you up. A few decent places there. I’ve stayed at the Aparthotel a few times and it’s always been spot on and fairly priced.

Nepalese Temple Balls that takes me backBeen a while since I've been but I used to go for the hash as much as the ganja.
Never a fan of the hard dark brown resin ****e you found over here, but over there it was a different story. Soft, light in colour, no need to heat it, just flakes and crumbles, and different buzz was perfect if you're out and about and exploring Dam. Temple Ball was the name of a favourite that sticks in the brain. Probably others worth trying.
Coffee shops have probably all changed, the famous ones are well known - the smaller ones with a more cosy vibe but great ganja I'd recommend are Paradise, Free Adam (bob marley style hangout), and Tweede Kamar if you can find them.
On a side note the hot chocolate over there was quality with a spliff.
Enjoy mate

Is it really about being good or shhite?
I think it's about does the artist draw you into the painting, does it provoke thought and interest. Painting is like music, an insight into a persons mind. Even in psychology drawings are used with children to gain some insight into their experiences. Some adults keep it simpler by writing as an aid to releasing anxiety, but those thoughts could be used to go on to the bigger hurdle of writing a book. I find him intriguing and creative, so in the sense of art it's achieved its objective of thought and inspiration.
It’s not really a thing in Amsterdam these days…..the odd one might still sell but it’s mostly the new products being sold ie oils pollen ice and all the new hybrids coming from around the globe
