Prefer estrella galicia. Think it’s the one with the black label..
Have finally booked a holiday. 10 days at a villa in Spain. A mate and his mrs coming too. Can’t wait. The Spanish bar at the top of the road has my favourite beer on draught too.
That Galicia was an option. Had Mahou red in eight packs of small cans though so, had to be that.
Just got back from a meal in a local restaurant, not by any means town centre as we're staying up on a hill above San Sebastian.
Bottom line is, the house red was a Rioja at €9 bottle and is the best red we've had since I've been away, bar this one red in France Medoc, marginally, but that was a 'cheap' €12.
We had a bunch of tapas, and two main courses. Beer, deserts, coffees, cokes and the vino.
Was a full €50 cheaper than last night. Essentially, France was 50% more expensive than 25 miles way over the border.
****ers.
Anyway, full day out in San Seb tomorrow, I expect an empty wallet.

My memory is a little blurred on this. A few years back we were staying around the Pau area and decided to drive into the Pyrenees, when we got to the top, we could see what was something looking very futuristic and looked totally out of place, so we decided to drive and see what it was, turned out to be a massive duty free place on the Spanish side, loads of French shoppers there too. Cheap as chips, Campo Viejo reserva less than 3€ a bottle, Croc pots etc a quarter of the price as the UK. Do you know it, or come across it. Tried a Google search but nothing coming up.
Brought fifteen boxes of (of six) wine and a slab of Mahou red back.
Six months worth of stock up there, at least.
All over now though. Back in work today.

Fking horrible getting back into the reality of life hey......always makes me feel like what the fk are we doing giving our life up for money and 4 weeks away a year when tribes just hunt get pissed and hang from trees on ayahuasca.......and people say they are backward lol

Yeah been 3 times before at various points in my life. Not really looking forward to it tbh, mrs idea and can’t really be ****ed as been away loads this summer already. Turkey very hit and miss aswell as it’s dirt cheap.
Fly to Antalya and it’s like an hour down the coast apparently, haven’t looked into it at all so not really sure.
Im staying somewhere in old town in antalya, be my 1st time there for 12 days then dam for a few nights before coming back
Yeah I’ve been Antalya before, it’s decent you’ll have a good time.

I was in an all inclusive in Antalya just went on some day trips round the place. Remember the town being nice enough and bare fake clothes. Right up your street I’d expect
This is our holiday dog, we first found him having a dip in the fountain in the local park, he then followed us all day, then the next day we saw him again walking past us while we were having a coffee, we gave him a shout and again was with us all day, later we sat down to eat somewhere and the waiter put some food and water down for the dog, which he just sniffed and left, the waiter said he was waiting for us to eat 1st, which we thought was just a funny joke.

Its great the way they treat strays here, all well treated and well fed by the community, its really nice to see. Most have tags on their ears.
