Back in the 1990s when I was in Romania the local secretary asked me what is a cad, I was thinking computer aided design until she showed me the book she was learning English from. It was illustrated with pictures of steam trains and cars that looked like Austin 7s.
How did you reply? Well, a cad is sort of a bit of a bounder, a rum cove. :emoticon-0102-bigsm

By jove old bean that's a jolly old book you have there, there must be some likeable rogue making a right wedge knocking those out at five bob a piece.

Tally ho and toodle pip.

Just returned from Kefalonia and brought the heatwave back in our suitcases for you. A great island as good as anywhere I've been in Greece, excellent inexpensive tavernas and we actually saw the sea turtles in the harbour.
Nice place. We thought about a trip to seek out the sea turtles. We arrived in kefalonia, went in a cafe next to the harbour, and there were 2 swimming in there. Ticked off the list! We stayed in 3 different towns and our favourite was Fiscardo, stunning place.

Did an island tour and Fiscardo really was stunning, we stayed in Lassi.
