Where did you start and finish? Did you do the East Neuk of Fife at all?The east coast of Scotland has lived up to my expectations and some. To think it’s basically the same North Sea that Hornsea sits by is ****ing mad. I’ve traveled the west coast and have to say this side is every bit as spectacular, met some wonderful people, ate some amazing food, chatted to some very Bonny lasses…. Mr red was not amused lol. 6-7 hour drive in the morning is not one to look forward to but hey ho it is what it is…
Next stop good old ULL… I’ll not be long luv see you tomorrow xxx
I'm more or less between Glasgow and Stirling in Cumbernauld.I sometimes jump on the Citylink bus and go though to Stirling(20 minutes) on a Sunday for a wander round the Shopping Centre and a couple of pints,it's nice and peaceful compared to Glasgow.Did that last year some great costal villages like Crail and Elie , and St Andrews with Tentsmuir beach a must . Just back from Stirling what cracking historic old town, golf at Gleneagles , Blairgowrie and Auchterarder , great views of the Trossachs . Six and a half hours drive but worth it .
Just a load of old Bunter.I have to admit I have a fascination for old cemeteries and reading the gravestones of the really old or grand ones, the one at the top of the hill in Stirling is really atmospheric in the dark !
We popped in on the last night after a nearly meal, thought we’d find Greyfriars Bobbie’ in there !
One for the oldies LOL
