She didn't need a operation in the end as it would do more harm then good. She has a appointment to see if she can have her cast removed on the 2nd June.

Arrived back in Cyprus (2nd visit this year so far) just a week this time. Been for a quick run (bloody hot already) and had a quick dip in the pool.
Just got back from Rhodes….hotting up nicely..3 minor earthquakes whilst we were there.
Was in a Haven campsite in the south of France and it’s all speedos and no swimming shorts. Handy though because if you scratch the a ‘S’ off the badge the pool clears real quickly.Anybody ever been to a Eurocamp? Just want to know if it’s true you can’t wear swim shorts and have to wear Speedo’s , there is even a filter on their website for camps that allow shorts, what’s that about??

I don’t get the reason, it says hygiene , is it cos they saying people can piss down their legs in swim shorts or something ? It’s really putting me off, don’t have the physique for them, young man’s game is speedos.

Fingers crossed for her. I always hated the saw they use to take the cast off with, I know it can't hurt you but was always glad when they'd finished.
I was told, by the French, it was to prevent people swimming in normal outdoor shorts which might be dirty. Don't shoot the messenger...
Before that saw thing they used a bolt cropper type thing, still have a scar on my shin from where they took a lump out of my leg while taking off a plaster cast.

There's talk of her being given penicillin, which she was allergic to, allegedly. Organ harvesting's been mentioned too.
