I'm off to Marbella for a stag in about 6 weeks. Mallorca for a weekend at some point as well. Going to try and go to Vegas in December for the Fury/Wilder fight so need to save money really.

My sentiments exactly. I don’t mind going for mooch about looking at old buildings etc interspersed with bars.
I tend to go for a walk in the morning to see what's about then chill with a book and beer by the pool. It's more rehab than holiday but with beer.
Pretty much what I tried to do when I was working. My job meant I was out of the house for 14+ hours a day, working a very stressful job and having to combat Notwork southeast too.
When holiday time came, kids allowing, it was gimme a book, a lounger, a pool, a bar. Now **** off - come and get me in two weeks.
I'm in Marbella at the same time. We are practically best mates now.

Try further along the coast at St. Malo.
Get a hotel room inside the walled city.
There are also some great restaurants there.
If you both like a flutter later on there's a casino a few hundred yards walk outside the walls.
If you can, wait until the kids are back at school.
Ferry / Cat from Weymouth or Poole(?)
