Just got back from Rome, and it was ****ing amazing. Not been there for ages and was great to go there now I'm affluent.

I was thinking either Sicily or Naples to continue the Italian vibe (Italy suits me), or somewhere a bit more exotic.

Rome, typical tourist trap for *****'s to be avoided like the plague. Naples even ****ing worse and is an absolute ****hole but follows suit with your Rome adventurers. Of all the places to visit in Italy they would not be top of my list but clearly the OP is living to his normal UK status.

As for Sicily, without doubt the best of the three if i had to choose to jump on one of those planes today and worth a look.

I have actually been since they built the bridge. I miss getting the ferry across. The bridge lacks the romanticism of the ferry.
