If i had to choose out of the places you've mentioned it would be Croatia.

Take no notice of Toby, he was skint after a few days bumming in Brighton and only goes to France because mummy pays <ok>

I've not been there and it holds more appeal as a destination from Grove's list for relaxation and historical value than the others, the old Yugoslavia was beautiful until they bombed the **** out of it. Menorca is just the little brother of that **** hole called Majorca with probably less boozed up brits. As for the Canary Islands, what is there to say other than an all inclusive winter sun at best, certainly would not be going there in the summer / not even any good as a cheap family hol at Easter, as the prices will rocket. Portugal is probably a bit dodgy for Grove to be honest. Mainland Spain, done a fair bit of it and you couldn't pay me to go to Benidorm but then Grove did say he would avoid that, suppose he could pop across from the Torres to Gibraltar and bring SN some cheap cigs back. Don't really have an opinion on Madeira, never been on my radar of places to visit. Personally i think Grove would be good to visit Scotland, I have it on good info some good charity shops up there to visit.

I'm not exactly Bear Grylls so a holiday in Siberia wrestling mountain leopards, flying eagles and carving igloos out of lake ice isn't exactly on the cards. Typical of Tobe the Mope to weigh in though. It's a f.ucking kids holiday you twat, it's meant to be mundane. How about listing all the mind-blowing options you'd do instead? Sorry, but a week in a gite in France isn't what I'd call exciting. I get enough of people stinking of garlic on the tube without actually seeking them out in Frogland.

And as for those tags <laugh><laugh><laugh><laugh>

If you like horizontal rain, howling winds, and mosquitos the size of crows, then Canada is definitely the place for you <ok>

When the terrorists brought down both the World Trade Center buildings and no planes were allowed into the States they were all rerouted to Gander, Newfoundland . " Newfies " came out of the woodwork bringing travellers into their homes and the parties were on . Many , many travellers still return to Newfoundland these days to visit their Newfoundfriends . They care little about winds , rains and mosquitos.
